The first home listed this week is located at?670Riven Rock. This home, pictured on the left, is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home complete with an office, river rock fireplace, hardwood floors and knotty pine accents. ?There are even filtered lake views, and, according to the listing agent, a sledding hill right outside the back door.?
The other newly listed home for sale is located in historic Glenbrook at?166 Yerington Circle. ?It is a foreclosed Cape Cod style home situated on the 9th fairway of the exclusive Glenbrook Golf Course. ?The 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is just a short walk from the lake and is nestled in the forest. Foreclosures are very rare in South Lake Tahoe!

In my most recent blogs, I?ve explained that?the inventory?of homes for sale?is way down in South Lake Tahoe. Currently, there are just 176 active homes on the market in on the Nevada side of South Lake Tahoe. In the last year 155 homes were sold and since July 1 there have already been 23 homes have sold. With this increased interest from home buyers and the reduced inventory of homes for sale, we?re seeing more buyers than there are homes fitting the popular search criteria available.
